It's a bird!
no..It's a plane!
no.....It's Chas-z!
Faster than a locomotive little Chas-z could out run a Greyhound if put to the test. Her tongue was just as fast too! Yuk!! You learned quick around this little gift from heaven to NOT put you face too close! Ha hA! Chas-z was a sweetheart and was a snugglebunny. She loved curling up in circles, hiding her nose to keep it warm while she dreamed of chasing rabbits, squirrels and hunting for critters such as moles in the yard. Chas-z was a true wanderer at heart. Wanderlust took her to many a close call, even though much of her life was spent indoors where it was safe. Never was she so happy as to run off sniffing, smelling, chasing and checkingout all the local animals be it in the woods or urban neighborhoods.
Chas-z was an old dog. Fully blind and deaf and couldn't get up on the couch by her self anymore. The past year has been tough and she was nearly lost about 2 months ago. I knew the end was near and was happy she didn't suffer with pain or lingering illness. Chas-z was called to the skyroad this past weekend (via stroke) after 15 years of being my companion, bedwarmer and neverending source of unconditional love. She will be sorely missed. She lived a good life chasing balls and wagging her tail. I know she made some good friends on Gaia when her photo was put up as my icon, I just wanted to let her world wide fan club know she's gone, but in a much better place and I'm sure her tail is still wagging with a smile. So long Chaz.
